While some may have a good experience at this facility, I truly believe they are the ones who would have had success at ANY facility. If I could give 0 stars I would. Our experience at CCRM was a total nightmare. First, this place may look nice…don’t be fooled. CCRM operates like a factory. You are a number and will be treated as such. Communication is almost nonexistent and can be very snarky when you do receive it. Second, they use a one-size-fits-all approach and don’t want to do much if any detective work. My partner had endo that didn’t get addressed until toward the end of our insurance cap (and she had to self-advocate for that). The recommended treatment for that was Lupron which unfortunately wasn’t successful and took her almost a year to recover her cycles (CCRM severely downplayed risks of this drug, so make sure you do your homework). Surgery would have been the better option, which is why you need to self-advocate for getting properly diagnosed to begin with. Third, they will literally throw out - without telling you - embryos that don’t meet THEIR standards (but would be acceptable at most other clinics). This means any embryos that have a “C” in their grade (e.g. BC or CB). We didn’t even find out they had thrown out FOUR of our embryos until seeing it in some notes over a year later! And of course when we dared to question that, they were extremely rude and dismissive. That part was the worst because even if insurance wouldn’t cover their transfer, we would have gladly paid out of pocket to give them a chance. Even if those 4 embryos only had a 25% chance each, in total that would have been pretty good odds for us. But CCRM doesn’t like that because it screws up THEIR statistics (which have to be reported). All of this is just a summary. Consider yourself warned.

Dr. Styer is God sent. I found CCRM after two failed IVF cycles. I had lost all hope until I read about Dr. Styer. I set up an appointment and met him virtually. The time and attention he took listening to my failed cycles and chronic medical background of me and my partner was something our other doctor didn't do. Whe. Designing my treatment plan Dr. was extremely thoughtful and thorough making sure retrieval was successfull. He made sure to explain every aspect to me. I needed to have a polyp removed amd he explained why and what the procedure was like. Along the way my chronic medical issues caused us to have a delay, but Dr. Styer was very kind and understanding. Both times that I was delayed during my cycle all Dr. Styer express sympathy and concernto get things right medically to have a successful retrievel and implantation. I was so glade that we finally made it to implantation day and that he was there. He walked us through every step of implantation. I couldn't have asked for a more dedicated and kind Dr. Thank you for everthing Dr. Styer and CCRM.

I had worked with CCRM for the past year and have great things to say! I got pregnant from my third IUI so I didn't go through IVF. Dr. Styer was my doctor, but I've only met him a handful of times. Regardless, he is super gentle and nice. I mainly worked with the nurses, whom were all really great. Front desk staff are helpful too and communicating through Salve was easy. I understand it could be different to some people, but it wasn't an issue for me.

My husband and I went through IVF at CCRM Boston and unfortunately had several issues. Our first major issue was with the billing department, you’re assigned someone to work with, the person we worked with never got back to us, most of the time someone from another office would end up helping us. Our last treatment was a year ago and I’m still receiving bills from September of two years ago- I have called several times to ask for a final bill and continue to get more. They come in no specific order- just random treatment dates From the beginning I was adamant about only wanting a female doctor (for personal reasons) and when I showed up for my final egg retrieval I was surprised to find out I had a male doctor that day. I let the nurse know I was nervous about it and that I was told my doctor would always be there for major things such as transfers OR egg retrievals. I was told by the nurse that day that my doctor has a presentation to prepare for and that’s why she couldn’t do it. If it weren’t for the wonderful nurses, front desk staff, and phlebotomists I wouldn’t even give two stars.

The scheduling process, app, and availability are all clunky and I would not recommend CCRM for this reason. Whether it be lab work, telephone appointment, or a time sensitive procedure, the availability is limited, and there is little to no wiggle room. There are also times when it seems they are too busy and so you need to circle back or chase for answers. The on call service they use does not seem to understand medical terms (and in my case, did not seem to understand that sometimes last names are spelled a little funny for some people), so if calling in after-hours you will need to be very patient. Everything seems to be done through the app, and there is no guarantee the messages are seen, and often little follow up. That being said, the center seems clean, there is parking available, and in-person the nurses are nice, so if you/your partner are flexible, you will likely be fine. Personally, as someone with an in-office job, I would try to find a different fertility center.
