Never in my life have I ever felt like a number the way that Columbia fertility clinic has treated me I began my official first cycle of I UI February 2024 of course that was a discrepancy due to the fact that prior none of Dr. Sacs Nursing team or administrative team reached out to me to do a follow-up appointment from my previous blood work that was examined And so I had to start my treatment on day 6 instead of day 5 The first IUI cycle failed and of course I asked Doctor Sacs what happened and he could not explain Now mind you I just did an HSG exam with him January 2024 he asked me about my right ovary but insisted that it should be nothing that will harm me getting pregnant He then assisted with my second I UI cycle suggesting that in my exam for my blood work and sonogram that I may have a little of endometriosis But never stated to go and find a second opinion But encouraged to still do the procedure because once again he said it should not prevent me from getting pregnant now mind you I have had 2 IUI cycles that have failed back-to-back And so I went to get a second opinion come to find out I had a cysts on each of my ovaries. Yet Columbia fertility wants to go behind a past application to make me pay for genetic testing that was never discussed about treatment nor my results and would still not discuss with me What is causing my infertility issues. Now mind you the week prior after the I UI injection my body is always fine according to my blood work however somewhere between day 9 today 14 of the cycle things start to take a turn and every time I reach out to speak to my Doctor who happens to be "Dr. Sacs" He is nowhere to be found or he's always in a meeting it's always some excuse that either the front desk or his nursing team or the administrative staff has to cover for him. I encourage you to please take precautions if you decide to choose this fertility clinic because you can go miss diagnosed and have to So much emotional damage trying to conceive with this clinic only for them to take your money for fast rendered services. I know someone personally who also went to them first and they told her her tubes were blocked she went to go get a second opinion from another fertility clinic and now she has conceived threw another fertility clinic because she found out that her progesterone levels were low So I advise to any of you ladies please thoroughly do your research because Columbia fertility clinic is not it and I get that every clinic has is ups and Downs when it comes to the customer service however they lack in being redeptive of the client's needs and request and it's really not enough Doctors there to care for their patients. Now I understand why he has so many frustrated customers he doesn't spend enough time to go through the process with them and help them understand what their problems are that causes infertility he's always given this optimistic view Where he wraps you up through multiple cycles whether it's I UI or IVF And once you pay your money you don't see him again unless it is a rendered service so forget having a 1 on 1 consultation

I have been trying to work with CFA to assess egg freezing, and so far they have managed to: 1, bungle my insurance (leading to several hundred dollars of costs I am covered for) for routine bloodwork 2, make me wait for over an hour on each appointment I had, while never even acknowledging that I was in the waiting room, standing at their desk, despite walking up and standing in front of them for 10+ minutes 3, today, I received a message in their new portal from another patient, that was clearly intended for the doctor, which just screams HIPAA violation, on top of egregiously terrible administrative management. When I pointed it out, the front desk woman on the phone brushed me off and said the equivalent of, "oopsie, sorrry". No customer service, no hey let me investigate this to ensure your private data is safe, nothing. It's quite a shame, as Dr. Sacks was wonderful when I met with him, but I don't think I can move forward with treatment at a place that is so painfully badly managed.

I wish I could give a big fat ZERO to CFA. I came in as a surrogate for transfer, had to travel from out of state and was appalled at how bad both the nurses/doctor's bedside manners were for such a delicate situation. My Intended Parents were not allowed to go with me, my husband wasn't allowed in with me, I couldn't bring a phone to document anything for them, and they gave attitude when I asked questions since this was my first time doing IVF. After transfer and confirmation of pregnancy, I had to follow up multiple times to get answers regarding acceptable cold/allergy medicine, fertility medicine adjustments, and we spent 3 MONTHS trying to get my medical records transferred to my OB's office. Each time we were told they were sent over and I'd be following up after my next appt when I was told my OB didn't have them yet. What a nightmare, STAY AWAY.

Coming to this office has been a horrible experience for me. When coming to a specialty office, or any office I expect high quality patient care. That simply does not exist here. Multiple times I have had to walk to the practice because no one answered or returned my phone calls. The admin team is not welcoming at all. They don't even acknowledge you when you enter the office. Management is by far the worst. I've overheard people on the other end of the phone saying things such as "that girl don't listen". The office manager even intentionally hung up on me over a billing disagreement. I've addressed my issues with the doctors at this practice and there was never any resolution. Insurance and billing was a major hassle. Multiple times I had to provide details about my insurance and follow up on my claims. I would not recommend anyone to the practice because I didn't not feel like I was valued and honestly, they do not show any sence of care here. The only positive experience I had was with with Brandy, who assisted me with a procedure. This was the first time I noticed someone who smiled in this office. She was very caring and I truly appreciated working with her even though it was only one procedure. The lady who draws blood was also pleasant as well. She is very polite and you can see she loves what she does. Overall, it was a nightmare being a patient at this practice. It is conveniently located near my job which is why I chose to come here. I am now seeking treatment somewhere else.

They charged $4,000 just for the thawing of our one frozen embryo. Avoid here. One of Dr. Sack's nurses, Iman, was communicatvie and empathetic. But the other nurse of his was awful and dismissive when we had a question. The office staff treats you badly as others described.
