This place used to be great. I was able to have my son via gestational carrier in 2022 through this clinic. But, something happened here after 2022, because the quality of care and communication drastically decreased. In 2024 when I was ready to select a gestational carrier to carry our last remaining embryo, it was a terrible experience. They went against their own strict criteria for my gestational carrier (allowing a woman who had two previous c-sections to be my GC, and they wouldn’t allow the woman who actually gave birth to my son in 2022 try for my second child because she was “too old”, and she was only 41-years-old!) The monitoring was terrible, and all of this ultimately resulted in the loss of my one remaining embryo. Then, they wanted me to try with one of my complex mosaic embryos with a super high probability of miscarriage, and also birth defects! At that point I knew they were just money grabbing. Save yourself the heartache, and go with a different clinic.

I came to New Hope Fertility in May 2020 and I was just a very exhausted but extremely hopeful woman in wait of her miracle babies. Under exceptional care of my OB-GYN at KindBody, Dr. Sasan, I took my Doctor's recommendation to do one cycle of IVF to avoid aging eggs that were less viable or with abnormalities. I later found out through very thorough examinations that I also had 21 fibroids that made it quite difficult to hold a successful pregnancy because there literally was no space for my sweet peas to grow. Mind you, we're at the start of the COVID pandemic and lockdown and in NYC, they were only doing life threatening surgeries and so the much needed Myomectomy that I needed before a embryo transfer was up in the air. BUT GOD.. So I was referred to the amazing and world renown Dr. Ascher-Walsh at Mt. Sinai Hospital who not only did a phenomenal surgery for me but spoke life over me by saying I would birth beautiful babies once healed. Had a successful myomectomy surgery and egg retrieval at New Hope that I was blessed to have a total of 6 eggs turned embryos at the ripe age of 39 years old. After healing from my surgeries, my doctor at New Hope, transferred my embryo that February 2021 and it was sadly unsuccessful. I do believe that its because we transferred too soon and my endometrium lining wasn't thick enough to hold my precious babe so that was a rough part of this journey. The other tough part of my fertility journey at New Hope was being told by my Doctor after I suffered my loss that I would be unable to EVER carry a baby to term and that I should consider a gestational carrier. The audacity of being told this at such a fragile emotional state of mind and spirit. After experiencing child loss, no grieving mother in waiting wants to hear this. Especially from the person who you are paying out of pocket and insurance to help facilitate a miracle and just be an overall decent human being . Once I was told that silly news, I completely ended my IVF journey with that Doctor because honestly I feel they have no Hope instead of New Hope in my case. I felt so much anger, disappointment and regret for listening to this doctor when they said I should do my embryo transfer with an endometrium lining of 6mm. However I was naive, and too trusting with the wrong doctor so I have since forgiven myself and made the best decision of ending my IVF efforts in June 2021. I left my remaining embryos in storage there and left NYC all together in August 2021. Now here comes the bright side of this review. When me and my Husband relocated to the South, I just felt a sense of peace I clearly didn't have in hectic, busy NYC. I thank GOD so much for having the final say in all things because January 2022, I found myself pregnant with my miracle baby at age 41 NATURALLY Conceived :) So much for what the Dr. at New Hope told me and I had a beautiful, hassle free and joyful pregnancy and delivery by C-Section. I love my OB-GYN in NYC so much because she referred me to my current OB-GYN who delivered my daughter and my Surgeon who did my Myomectomy to ensure that my babies have a cozy home to grow in. Fast Forward to 2025 and I'm excited to add a beautiful addition to our family and give my daughter a sibling :) New Hope took such EXCEPTIONAL care of my embryos for me under the amazing leadership of the very outstanding Lab Supervisor, Herminio Carrao. When I reached out to Herminio to start the process of transferring my embryos from NYC to my current location, he was BEYOND efficient and extremely kind. I joke with him that in our time of knowing each other via email, he has become like a cousin to me. His intentional way of making sure my embryos were safe and cared for all 5 years of their storage there are above and beyond my expectations.

I had an extremely disappointing experience with New Hope Fertility Clinic. I scheduled a virtual appointment for April 2nd at 1 PM, which was confirmed via email on March 31st. Just two hours later, I received a text stating the appointment couldn’t be accommodated. I tried calling immediately but couldn’t reach anyone, so I texted and was told my appointment was still confirmed for April 2nd. On April 1st, I received an automated reminder, and then on the day of the appointment (April 2nd), I was sent a link to complete paperwork—just two hours before the scheduled time. I completed the forms around 12 PM and logged in for my appointment at 1 PM. By 1:10 PM, no one had joined. I called and waited on hold for 15 minutes only to be told my appointment had been canceled—by me, which was absolutely false. Then I was told it was because my paperwork wasn’t complete—again, not true. At that point, I decided not to reschedule. If this is how the patient experience begins, I have no confidence in moving forward with such a critical process. I have documentation of all communications, including confirmations, messages, and completed forms. I strongly urge the clinic to improve communication, accountability, and scheduling transparency for the sake of other patients who are trusting you with such sensitive and important matters.

I don't know if I should give this place any star lets start off by saying I was referred to them by my gyn specialist after booking a consultation with the doctor telling him my health issues and he explained what we can do I was excited to start my journey. I started off by doing blood work and other test lets say they charge you $600 to do outside monitoring and all they do is tell you what they see nothing else. I went through my insurance to do the ultra sound and blood work. This place is very unprofessional all they want is money they don't care about what you're trying to accomplish and they don't communicate with you about anything. Imagine getting your hopes up about trying to have a child to have a failed IUI procedure and for them to tell you what they can do to work your body up and force ovulation to one side and then telling you that you ovulated early after they have you doing weekly monitoring. So what exactly were they monitoring and lets not forget I did get get any medication after the first month that I had the failed IUI and also had to pay for those medications. They did not even ask me to do a pregnancy blood test two weeks later which is the right procedure. They schedule me for a monitoring and then told me your blood is negative for pregnancy. fast forward to 3 months later they still can't perform another procedure and I've been doing transvaginal ultra sound and blood work every other week and I have to call to remind them of my monitoring because they don't keep with anything other than money. basically all this place is interested in is money that you are paying out of pocket. I told them my goal is to have a child and instead of that I am stuck with disappointments. You can't reach the Doctor whos name is Dr Zhang if he calls you and you miss the call you will never hear from him and they will email you saying the doctor is going to reach out and you sit and wait to get no call even when you ask what time and send emails their response is about a money even when you did not do any monitoring for the month. You can't get in contact with any nurse and all they do is respond to emails sending you bills and that's it. This place definitely lived up to the bad reviews and I would not recommend they don't care about you just money. Here I am 4 months later and in search of another facility to start all over my time and money was wasted, I am disappointed and feel like giving up. These procedures aren't cheap and they don't have any remorse for what you are going through and no consideration for your time and health. Money is their main concern

I love this place I had my daughter 12/21/22 and she’s the best thing that ever happened to me . The place is kind of busy but I honesty feel the doctors and staff care about you . I had 3 egg retrievals and 2 embryo transfers before being successful it’s a process but it’s so worth it .i had 3 failed attempts elsewhere before coming here and the day of my last egg retrieval Dr zhang walked into the room during my ultrasound and told me don’t worry we will get you pregnant and low and behold he did . This place is great and it’s unfortunate they have such bad reviews . As you all know fertility is a journey and everyone experiences it differently although it’s emotional for all of us we don’t all get the results we wish . So if you’re reading this give them a try and I wish you all the luck . ❤️
