I have seen several different Doctors at this location and never had an issue.

Was denied access solely because I wouldn't allow staff to record my personal information. Via their own policies seen on their website, they claim to follow the law...." We will require that admissions, transfers and discharges are medically appropriate and performed in accordance with all legal requirements" but asking for identification with absence of any crime has repeatedly been proven in court to be unconstitutional. Meaning.....if you actually follow the law, you would KNOW that demanding my identification is a violation of my 4th amendment rights in the Constitution, with exception a crime has been committed, no matter the reason. If you want to claim this facility is private property, and it is, then don't claim to follow the law. Shouldn't preach something you don't practice. Go through and read all the complaints other people have shared.....your staff has a reputation for lacking empathy and have a history of repeated questionable conduct. Need to get from behind your desks and remind these people they aren't here solely to get a paycheck. People are your job. Respecting people isn't difficult. After all it's in your own policies.....

My mom was scheduled to have surgery today for a nodule biopsied by her lung only to find out after they put her under and a tube in her throat the equipment is faulty and they can’t proceed now she has to repeat this procedure in a couple weeks again and she’s in her 60s what kind of hospital does that.. I’m in shock and awe and feel so bad for my mom. I’m not happy also I took off work and drove here which is the least of my worries but the fact my mom has to go through this process AGAIN I’m flabbergasted

My recent experience has honestly left me disgusted. I have high respect for all, not to mention those who spend lifetimes working toward their career. I respect they’re busy, have a million things going on, possibly jaded by what they see and have their own personality/communication style. As a fellow science and anatomy nerd and learning all I can for my own reasons, I also respect some cases may be “cool, fascinating or down right frustrating if not easily diagnosed.” I also respect the amount of knowledge you have that I will never. Asking what that means towards me, my life not just a diagnosis shouldn’t be a problem. As a patient I respect you may have 10 minutes with me. 1 minute (if you didn’t know already) may be used to get to know me or my life as I want it or what I’m doing to get there. Or what I wish for (like one day not being on medicine, the fact I’ve tried to stop it as I believe food, movement and overall health to be better or having to stretch out a spastic stuck extremity to use it). What I need (refills, other resources, etc). What I’m doing to make myself better regardless of diagnosis or not. Again, I respect you and can make it a sentence. As someone born with something, then to later have another big event happen, I know not all present the same and some may have the same diagnosis yet their work ethic, emotional state, pure determination can be factors. Not to mention all bodies are different. I’ve been around plenty of doctors and people, I am fully aware not everyone treats people respectfully. But if you don’t actually assess me (records or not) you don’t know what my baseline is now, let alone before. Or if all my endurance was taken up with the hours of work it took to get things done and there beforehand. As a woman I dislike that not saying something gets “you should have spoke up” but speaking up gets “well… I don’t want to argue…” “well no sir, I’m not arguing I’m confused and asking what that means.” Or “I see that’s what you’re asking for this is why it’s not a safe test for me” which again was my basic baseline. As a human being I wish to be more than a statistic. Not being heard, being made to feel worthless after waiting to see someone- that’s what causes breakdowns. Regardless if you didn’t have any beforehand knowledge of me, you could have learned basics in those few moments. Or how much I’m fighting to have the life I want regardless if we ever find the diagnosis. I may be different than what you have seen, that doesn’t mean me as a person doesn’t belong to be respected as a person. Again, I get the fascination but that’s not all I am. This one person doesn’t have the power to bother me or stop all I’m relearning. Im not demanding an apology. I’m just bringing attention to the inhumanity. Again, I can respect for your job you need x,y,z. You may need to remember I (everyone) may need x,y,z on their own journey that you were supposed to be apart of. And treating someone how I was treated yesterday- can really hurt and devastate during those really hard parts. It’s completely unacceptable. It indeed doesn’t the opposite of your oath- causing harm.

I went in for surgery yesterday with a broken ankle. From check in to after surgery everyone was so nice and friendly. It was such a non-stressful environment and immediately felt at ease. This was my second experience with Scott and White and my first time (for Covid, I was in for a week) was in Marble Falls and was great too. Thank you to all the nurses and staff and my dr for making it as pleasant as possible in such a stressful time.
