Cost of egg freezing & IVF cycle

I do not recommend using them for IUI. They forgot to thaw the frozen sperm prior to inseminating it inside of me. I didn’t realize until my second round of IUI that both procedures were COMPLETELY different. A medical assistant also DROPPED the syringe of sperm in front of me on the floor before using it. When I contacted Penn for answers they responded by having someone call and interrogate me (didn’t answer any questions) followed by writing me a nonsense letter saying they spoke to their staff about it. I received no answers and I was NOT TAKEN SERIOUSLY. Penn completely dismissed me. My experience with Penn has been financially and emotionally draining, the way they handled this feels very disrespectful.

I don't think I can find anything negative to say about this facility. My journey was longer than I would have liked and had some bumps in the road, but that's just how to has to go sometimes. I always felt supported by my main Dr. Kalra who always listened to what I had to say and wanted to try first in regards to my care. She was open to my thoughts on my plan of care, which goes a long way. The other doctors in the practice I engaged with often for particular procedures were also lovely, no bad experiences even when the procedure was difficult. I always felt I was always treated with the most love and care.
Every office visit was pleasant (considering). The nursing assistants taking blood and vital signs were always kind and tried to make you feel at ease. Helen in particular always had a smile and warm demeanor to her which helped me through. Ashely as well really sticks out in my mind. Ashley was there for a troubling procedure I had done and really did her best to comfort me, going above and beyond her role. The ultrasound ladies were also fabulous. Always answering all the questions they could and being as gentle as possible and entering the room with a smile and postive attitude.
Parking was paid, but usually accessible right out front for a very fair fee. Wait times were always fair as well. Office was always clean and bathrooms well kept.
Thank you, Penn Fertility!

I don’t feel welcome when I visit this place. I am on my 4th IUI and haven’t felt any support from this facility. You are on your own, they don’t follow up with you or set up appointments with your provider, you have to do everything on your own!
haven’t seen my doctor in almost a year. Every time there is always a new resident or doctor doing IUIs and your office appointment are with NPs (who are usually clueless). And not to mention! They never have appointments available to freeze samples. So if your husband isn’t available to provide fresh samples and your body is ready for IUI forget it! You will miss a whole cycle.

My father is a med student sperm donor. I was born into the wrong family. My parents are kooks. My mother is a messy packrat who makes me watch bad reality shows and soap operas. My non-genetic father looks like Charlie Brown and he is pushy and hot tempered. Do you prescreen parents? Can I have a refund on my parents?

If you're a male, I would highly recommend you see another doctor!!!! P masson does not listen to his patients, nor does he communicate with their patients directly! He uses other staff to interact with patients. He also lies to your face about treatments, doesn't listen to you, as well as falsify interactions that didn't happen. It's a shame that he has a monopoly on the male population by being the sole provider that Penn Medicine allows and encourages. Go see someone else if you think a doctor should listen, and should care.
