Not a great experience at all. The chief of surgery has a very bad way of treating his patients. I waisted 2 of my good years there age 35-37. I got very sick with 2 bacteria’s and my embryo’s got destroyed with the same bacteria. Long story I rather not get into all the details. *stay away. I ended up going somewhere else locally that was much cleaner and organized ivf center and now I have my son at the age of 40.

Came here to seek treatment but was given very piece mealed info. They kept making me visit for several months over 2 years. They scammed my insurance for money. Finally I told them I was leaving their center and the doctor tried to persuade me to stay but my mind was made up because they did not try to help my goal aside from giving me an order form for an HSG. Dr Weiss will make you feel like it's a privilege and obligation to talk to her. Good luck with that one!

Valley's fertility center consistently delivered the best care to me for both of my pregnancies. They have the best staff from the friendly and communicative front desk to the very knowledgeable and skilled physicians. Anytime I had any questions or concerns they were able to get me in the same day. I'm so glad I chose to work with Valley.

Before you decide to go to Valley, I suggest the following. 1- Check the SART score. 2- Go to your own endocrinologist and get anything that needs to be managed, managed properly. A reproductive endocrinologist is not an expert on hypothyroidism. 3- Ask about how you can communicate with your doctor. I feel the communication lacks transparency, accessibility, and courtesy. When I brought my records to another clinic, I learned very important information that I should have been told at Valley. 4- Know that this clinic does not treat the whole person. No one communicated with me after miscarriage or failed transfers to see how I was feeling. Moments after receiving bad news, I was always asked what I wanted to do next. It felt like a pipeline with twists, turns, and black-out plunges. I needed to take a breather and heal, but they wanted to move, move, move. 5- Visit the other insurance-covered facilities to see how they make you feel or if you will have your own specific team. 6- Understand that since the embryology lab is in a different location, it is difficult to get information in a timely manner. This clinic will make you wait 7 days (!!) to give an update about how many embryos make it to blast without clarification if the blasts were day 5 or day 6. 7- Be prepared to advocate for yourself and speak up. If you need realistic expectations, ask for them. I wish I had asked more about the actual chances of a successful IUI or transfer. It would have lessened my disappointment and anger at my body for failing me. 8- Be prepared to educate yourself about the ins and outs of medication, methods, and procedures so that you can ask questions. 9- Demand to understand what initial testing results mean for both partners. 10- Understand that if you are unhappy, like I was, you are ultimately stuck where your eggs or embryos are. I wish I understood that from the get-go because I would have gone somewhere else after my first IVF cycle instead of continuing. Even after the trauma of infertility and miscarriage, I feel that a lot of patients are able to overlook, ignore, or forget their “during” if they end up with a baby because, hey it’s all about getting a baby, but the “during” deserves to be shared and understood. I did not get a happy ending, and not everyone does.

I have nothing but excellent things to say about this office and my experiences with them. Scheduling is super easy, the patient portal is so convenient and the nurses respond so quick, the whole staff is incredible and the office is so clean and professional like something you see on TV that’s too good to be true. I don’t think I have ever waited in the waiting room for more than 5 minutes. They are very efficient! Everyone I come into contact with at this office is so kind hearted. You can tell they love what they do. The nice woman who works the front desk is so easy to talk to and so kind and patient. I have been to the office three times and have had the same nurse two out of the three visits and she is so so sweet! Had a little procedure done today and it was quite uncomfortable (they warned me!) She saw I was struggling a bit and actually held out her hand for me to hold and squeeze onto which may seem like a little gesture but meant so much to me in the moment. Getting blood is always a breeze, quick and easy! Dr. Chen has been amazing! Explains everything to me in extreme detail, always telling me what’s going to happen step by step and always asks me if I have any questions. Never feel like a bother in his presence. His bedside manner is immaculate. I am so grateful for finding this office and I am so grateful for every single person who works at this office. Fertility issues are never easy but this staff makes things a little easier. You feel safe here, you feel like you are in the best hands. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
