My cousin came in to see Dr. James Bembry for a PPD appointment and birth control. She heard him talking to the nurse about “what does she want? I don’t have time for her.” And then he came in with a script for BC without asking about her past uses which have left her BLEEDING. Without asking about her ppd even though they have been faxed the PPD questionnaire. He just said “these will mess with your hormones in a good way” and left. She will not ever EVER be coming back. zero star if I could. Horrible.

Disappointing service. Feels almost borderline negligent to keep a patient who cannot walk, not barely sit up, waiting for 2 hours in the ER waiting room. Left to go to a real emergency room to be seen by doctors who actually care about doing their job. Shame on this hospital and how it is ran.

This morning, March 13 my niece called me and said she was in the ER. She has colon cancer she’s very ill. She called me three times asking me how long it was going to be because they needed her to leave .I was only there 10 minutes, but I saw no compassion for my niece who had talked to her doctor and her doctor has suggested hospice. No one even smiled. Everyone was automatic machine, like it was cold and uncaring, and Imy heart went out to my niece who’s dying I hope I never have to come there again and experience the same thing I just did . they ask her if she wanted to walk out she could barely stand. She was there because she had fallen twice that day. Did they even stop and read her chart? I’m so disappointed in this hospital.

This is obviously a small hospital and not set up for critical patients. So please give them grace when they have to send you to a different hospital with better resources. We have limited experience with ER, But My husband did his chemo infusions with Jill and Heather, those two Angels AND their staff went out of their way every time to make our stay wonderful and comfortable. They became like family and we appreciated them so much. A few times, he was a direct admit to Wayne inpatient when he wasn’t required to have surgery or wasn’t critical, but still needed some care. They were all amazing staff, Nurses, tech’s, Drs, environmental services,, food services, etc… all the staff. They went out of their way daily to help in any way possible. They even went out and bought him a birthday cake on his 59th birthday and then everyone came in to sing to him, brought us both to tears 🥹❤️.🙏. Just an amazing bunch of people who love their jobs and community. Thank you to the wonderful staff at Wayne Hospital ❤️. They made a very hard process a little easier.

I’ve never been more disappointed. My son is extremely sick and in pain and we have been in the waiting room for over 2 hours. They push pill seekers ahead of the ones who actually need medical attention! This is why we quit coming to this “hospital “
